My journey never took place at just one place

Sinaia is a beautiful town at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains in Romania – the place I was born. Growing up in these wonderful surroundings connected me to the beauty of nature. Today I am still an outdoor guy – enjoying hiking and skydiving. It makes my heart beat faster and frees my mind.

When I was a kid everyone used to play video games. “Toxic” was my nickname in the gaming world. With time everyone just called me TOX – even my mom ☺. This is where my label was born, even before I knew it. I started working with my hands early in life when my dad taught me carpentry and craftsmanship. Later I switched to construction work. I have always learned by watching and doing.

A friend inspired me to travel Europe in my twenties. I visited various places and stayed in France for a while working building furniture for high end customers. Later life took me to beautiful Bavaria where I met my amazing skydiver girl – and I decided to stay.

My passion for handcrafting with wood and leather has always been there – so TOX leather loft started as a hobby in my rooftop studio. The positive feedback from family and friends encouraged me to run my own small business.

What really matters to me … ?

Time. Time is really important to me because it’s something you can’t buy. Maybe I am lucky to have enough, maybe my time is over after I have written this. That’s why I believe you live life to the fullest – with the people you like and love.

I am crazy about …

… quality and beauty in all things. From quality time to the beauty of a soul and the sharpness of a knife.

I get really excited…

… when people around me are happy. And when people like what I do – and use the goods I create every day.
